Weighing in at 3.9 grams, it's one of the weightier birds in our aviary — you feel it the moment it lands in your palm. The piece measures 1/4" x 7/8" and is shaped by lost-wax casting, with molten sterling silver flooding the mold at temperatures past 1,640°F to pick up the wing layering and the fine ridges of the crest. Four rounds of hand-finishing follow — coarse file, tripoli, rouge, and a mirror buff — and the charm ships with its jump ring fitted and ready.
