Cast using the lost-wax method at over 1,640 degrees Fahrenheit, each monarch is hand-finished through four progressive polishing stages. The centrifugal caster generates approximately 50 G's of force to push molten silver into the finest wing details.
Measuring 1" x 3/4", this charm captures the monarch's distinctive broad, rounded wings in full three-dimensional form. The wing shape is noticeably different from generic butterfly designs — wider, more rounded at the tips, true to the real species. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
