This charm is cast using a 6,500-year-old lost-wax technique and finished entirely by hand. Our sterling silver uses copper in the 7.5% alloy, making it naturally nickel-free. Up to 20% of people have nickel sensitivity, and overseas silver often contains nickel as a cost-cutting substitute.

Squid are jet-propulsion experts, able to change color instantaneously and even produce their own light through bioluminescence. Their ten arms — eight short and two long tentacles — are visible in this charm along with the torpedo-shaped mantle and lateral fins at 1/2" x 1".
