The Pomeranian — a tiny lion with a fox face and a personality that fills a room — cast in .925 sterling silver, Made in USA. This 1.6-gram charm measures 3/8" x 1/2" and captures the breed's famously fluffy outline.
Each piece is created through lost-wax casting. A hand-carved wax model is encased in investment plaster, burned out at 1,350 degrees, and replaced with molten silver under centrifugal force. Artisans then hand-finish through multiple polishing stages — no two emerge exactly identical.
Pomeranians descend from large sled dogs in the Arctic region of Pomerania and were bred down to toy size. Queen Victoria owned a particularly small Pom that sparked a breeding trend, reducing the breed's average size by half during her lifetime. This charm captures the Pomeranian's thick double coat, plumed tail curling over the back, and the alert, foxy expression that defines the breed. Sterling silver jump ring included and attached.
