At 2 grams of solid sterling, the charm has the density that takes engraving cleanly. Lost-wax casting produces the flat, even surface; hand-polishing moves through progressive stages — filing, sanding, buff — to eliminate any texture that would interfere with custom lettering. The banner curves naturally across the heart's face in a classic scroll form. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
