This charm renders the dog in full three-dimensional form — jowls, underbite, deep facial folds, and stocky legs faithfully reproduced through lost-wax casting, the only method that does the breed's complicated face justice. The recesses of the wrinkles are left slightly darkened during hand-finishing, so every crease reads clearly against the polished high points. At 3.4 grams and roughly 11/16 by 1/2 inch, it has real presence without overwhelming a bracelet.
