The Boston Terrier — the "American Gentleman" in his natural tuxedo — cast in .925 sterling silver, Made in USA. This 1.1-gram charm measures 1/2" x 3/8" and packs full breed character into a compact piece.
Each charm starts as a hand-sculpted wax model, encased in plaster, then burned out at 1,350 degrees. Molten silver floods the cavity under centrifugal force, capturing details that machine pressing cannot replicate. The sterling alloy uses copper, not nickel, in its 7.5% non-silver component.
The Boston Terrier was the first American breed recognized by the AKC, developed in Boston in the 1870s from a cross between an English Bulldog and a white English Terrier. Their tuxedo-like black-and-white markings, square head, and large round eyes earned them the "American Gentleman" nickname. This charm renders the breed's compact, muscular build and distinctive facial markings in 3D relief. Sterling silver jump ring attached.
