Boston gave America its first homegrown AKC-recognized breed in the 1870s, crossing an English Bulldog with a white English Terrier and ending up with a small dog in permanent formalwear. The tuxedo markings, square head, and saucer-round eyes earned the Boston Terrier its "American Gentleman" nickname — and a following that treats the breed like a family crest.

Rendered here at 1/2" x 3/8" and 1.1 grams, the charm packs the breed's compact, muscular outline and distinctive facial markings into true 3D relief. It begins as a hand-sculpted wax model; after a 1,350-degree burnout, molten silver fills the mold under centrifugal force, holding detail at a scale machine stamping can't reach. The alloy's 7.5% non-silver content is copper, never nickel. Made in USA, sterling silver jump ring attached.
Small and light, it works well in multiples — a pair on ear wires, or one tucked among other breed charms on a bracelet. On a fine chain it makes a subtle everyday pendant for the owner who doesn't need to advertise.
