Molten sterling silver poured at over 1,640 degrees is forced into the mold by a centrifugal caster generating roughly 50 G's. That combination of heat and force fills the dual wings, struts, propeller, and tail assembly with detail that flat stamping cannot reproduce.
Biplanes dominated aviation from the Wright Brothers' 1903 flight through World War I and into the barnstorming era of the 1920s. The stacked double-wing design provided lift and maneuverability that defined early flight. This charm preserves that pioneering silhouette. A sterling silver jump ring comes included and attached.
