The centrifugal lost-wax casting method drives molten silver at roughly 50 G's into the mold, capturing the waterfall, canyon walls, and surrounding terrain in full sculptural relief. Hand-finishing produces a polished surface that contrasts beautifully with the textured canyon detail.

The Lower Falls is nearly twice the height of Niagara Falls, and the canyon it carved through rhyolite rock glows yellow, orange, and red — the colors that gave Yellowstone its name.
