The lost-wax casting captures the dimpled seed pattern across the berry's surface and the leafy calyx at the top. After casting, each strawberry is hand-polished through four stages to a mirror finish — 8+ hours of finishing per batch.
Measuring 1/2" x 5/8", the berry shape tapers from a broad top to a pointed bottom, with the texture of individual seeds visible across the surface. The strawberry has symbolized everything from righteousness in medieval art to summer abundance.
