The lost-wax process, refined over 6,500 years, begins with a hand-carved wax model that is encased in plaster and burned away at 1,350 degrees. Molten silver then fills every fine vein line in the mold. Hand-polishing brings out a bright finish that highlights the leaf's textured surface. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
