Each spider is lost-wax cast using a centrifugal caster that generates approximately 50 G's of force, pushing molten silver at 1,640 degrees into the thinnest leg details. Hand-finishing with tripoli and rouge compounds gives the final piece its polished sheen.
The cephalothorax and abdomen are rendered in proper anatomical proportion, with all eight legs extending outward in a naturalistic pose. This is a true 3D casting — pick it up and you can see the spider's form from every angle. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
