These ceramic versions come from Peru, where each bead is shaped and painted individually before firing, drawing on clay traditions that run deep in the Andes. The star-with-trailing-tail design is compact — about 3/8 inch long — and the 2mm hole accepts standard beading wire, thread, and fine cord. Kiln firing seals the painted colors so they hold their vividness instead of wearing away.
