The Miniature Poodle — far more athlete than fashion accessory — sculpted in .925 sterling silver, Made in USA. This 1.3-gram charm measures 3/8" x 1/2" and captures the Poodle's distinctive clip and proud posture.
The lost-wax process produces sculptural 3D depth that stamping and machine pressing cannot achieve. After casting, artisans hand-finish each piece individually — filed, sanded, and polished through progressive stages until the sterling achieves a lasting mirror finish. The 7.5% copper alloy in our sterling contains no nickel, making it safe for the 10-20% of the population with nickel sensitivities.
Poodles are the second most intelligent dog breed and were originally bred as water retrievers in Germany — the elaborate clips were designed to protect joints and organs in cold water while reducing drag.
