Molten sterling silver is poured at over 1,640 degrees into a plaster mold, and the centrifugal caster generates roughly 50 G's of force to fill every fine detail of the Pomeranian's luxurious double coat and foxy expression.
This charm faithfully renders the Pomeranian's signature features — the abundant ruff around the neck, plumed tail curving over the back, and alert, fox-like face. Descended from large sled dogs of the Arctic, the Pomeranian was bred down to toy size in the Pomerania region of northern Europe. Queen Victoria famously owned a particularly small Pom, sparking the trend toward the tiny size we know today.
