The Painted Desert — Arizona's 150-mile canvas of red, orange, and purple badlands — cast in .925 sterling silver, Made in USA. This 3D charm weighs 2 grams and measures 3/4" x 1/2".
Each piece begins as a hand-sculpted wax model, burned away at 1,350 degrees, then replaced with molten sterling silver. The resulting charm captures mesa formations and layered terrain in miniature. Hand-polishing brings each geological feature to a polished finish.
The Painted Desert stretches from the Grand Canyon to the Petrified Forest, its banded sedimentary layers colored by iron and manganese oxides deposited over 200 million years. No two sunrises look the same across this landscape. A sterling silver jump ring is included and attached.
