The kiwi's instantly recognizable silhouette — round body, hairlike feathers, and long slender bill — is translated into full three-dimensional form at 5/8" x 0.56". The hand-sculpted wax original is encased in investment plaster, burned out at high temperature, and replaced with molten sterling silver at over 1,640 degrees Fahrenheit. After casting, each piece is individually hand-filed and polished through progressive stages to a bright, lasting finish. A sterling silver jump ring comes included and attached.
