At 4.1 grams of solid .925 sterling silver, this Hoover Dam charm carries real weight -- fitting for a monument that required 6.6 million tons of concrete to build. Made in USA and measuring 1/2" x 1/2", it reproduces the dam's Art Deco facade in full 3D relief.

Each charm is created through lost-wax casting, where a hand-sculpted wax original is encased in investment plaster, burned out, and replaced with molten sterling silver. No two pieces emerge exactly identical from this process.

Completed in 1936 during the Great Depression, Hoover Dam tamed the Colorado River and created Lake Mead while employing thousands of workers. The dam's distinctive curved face and intake towers are visible in this miniature casting. A sterling silver jump ring comes included and attached.
