Peruvian artisans sculpt each fairy and paint her by hand, then kiln-fire the piece so the pastel glaze keeps its color. At 1.25 by 0.75 inches she is sized to star — an earring drop with presence, or a pendant-style focal on a simple cord — and a hole of 2 to 3 millimeters takes most cords and ribbon.
Her palette is part of the toolkit. She settles in beautifully beside rose quartz, moonstone, and pale seed beads, and just as happily on pink satin cord for the smallest wearers.
