The casting measures 3/4" x 7/8" and weighs 3.1 grams, with every component of a working kit rendered in three-dimensional silver: bass drum, snare, toms, hi-hat, and cymbals on their stands. Molten sterling silver at more than 1,640 degrees flows into the lost-wax mold under centrifugal force, filling each drum shell and cymbal hardware element with a clarity that flat stamping cannot achieve. Four stages of hand-finishing bring out a mirror-bright surface.
