Each piece is lost-wax cast at over 1,640 degrees, with the centrifugal caster spinning at roughly 50 G's to force molten silver into every crossing and loop of the intricate knotwork. Hours of hand-polishing — filing, sanding, tripoli, rouge — produce a bright, detailed surface.
