Each bee is lost-wax cast using a centrifugal caster that spins at roughly 50 G's, forcing molten silver into the delicate wing membranes and fine leg details. After casting, hand-finishing with progressive polishing compounds produces a bright, smooth surface.
The bee's fuzzy thorax, translucent-thin wings, and distinctive striped abdomen are all rendered in full three-dimensional relief. The pendant orientation places the jump ring at the top for natural hanging on a necklace chain. A sterling silver jump ring is attached and ready for use.
