Artisans in Peru shape each bead by hand, paint the curved stitch lines one at a time, and kiln-fire the piece to lock the color in place. That handwork shows: every ball differs slightly from its neighbor, the signature of a person rather than a machine. The beads run 3/8" long with a roomy 2.5mm hole.
String them on stretch cord for a dugout-ready team bracelet, alternate them with letter beads to spell out a jersey number, or hang one from a bag zipper for tournament season. They thread easily on standard wire, cord, and elastic, and they sit comfortably alongside letter beads and other sports-themed ceramics from the same artisan tradition.
