16th Note Charm Sterling Silver Enamel | Music & Dance Jewelry | Made in USA
At 1.3 grams of solid .925 sterling silver with hand-applied enamel, this 16th Note charm is Made in USA.
Lost-wax casting produces sculptural 3D depth that stamping and machine pressing simply cannot achieve. The wax model is encased in investment plaster, burned out at 1,350 degrees, then filled with molten silver under approximately 50 G's of centrifugal force. The result is hand-finished through progressive polishing stages — tripoli compound, rouge polish, and a final buff.
A sixteenth note — the building block of fast musical passages — rendered in hand-applied enamel over sterling silver. At 1/2" x 7/8", the flag and beam are clearly defined. Sterling silver jump ring included.
A natural gift for musicians, music teachers, band members, or anyone whose life has a soundtrack. Hangs on a charm bracelet, necklace chain, or pair two with ear wires.
